Jobs Opinion

Getting the proper training to do skilled jobs is so tough without financial help especially for people that don't come from wealthy or well to do families that do finance higher education and training for their children. For people coming out of middlie income families and low wage families it is vertually impossible to gain access to training programs due to the high costs. Community college is a great option but still the child has to be supported after high school and that child holding a part time job then taking on a full load of classes can bring grades and the ability to absorb information down.

The problem is when you graduate from high school everyone wants money from you. Even your parents start pushing you for rent money if the child chooses to live in the parents household. Parents of children in middle class and low wage families are releived of the burden when their children turn 18 and finish high school. The child faces lots of "Hands Out Palm Up" when they finish school and either have to find funding to keep themselves in school or go get a full time job. Most do have to go to work because of debt. There are government grants and loans but the debt the child faces in the present time forces the choice of work over extended schooling. The grants and loans pay for some housing and college costs but they do not pay for transportation, food, clothing and other nescessities that go along with supporting yourself.

Doing hard and grunt labor is an essential learning tool and to many college graduates move into management positions without ever having to do manual labor and don't know squat as to what the employee has to go through to get a job done.

Politicians should answer some of the questions concerning what they will do to advance low income people into a better income bracket by stating he will create better low cost to no cost training programs for the children of middle income to low income families. The program would consist of the child doing about 3 hours a day manual labor to help pay program expenses then 4 hours of class room job skills and 4 hours of study time 5 days a week. Dorm rooms would have to be installed. Dorm rooms could even be tents. This type program may take longer to finish but at least the children will finish and go on to a decent paying job. This program would be apart of the public school system. This program would only be available to children of low income families that are "U.S. CITIZENS" and speak english well. Providing bilinguel teachers and literature is a waste of money when U.S. citizen students are suppost to be learning and speaking english. By the time children from low income families reach this program they should already know english anyway. This program would be in a military type atmosphere because discipline is a key factor in people moving away from criminal activities.

The state of California I personally know has or had a program 15 years ago targeted at hispanic gang members that was free skill training to move them away from the gang life. Fat chance that worked since I found out all the gang members enrolled into this skill training education were so called, "Dumb Fcks". Really, when you say "No Brainer" the hispanics in this free state run skill education program fit that bill. This program didn't offer housing but these gang members were paid minumum wage if they showed up everyday. "FREE" skill training that pays the student if you qualify and show up everyday. My God, no wonder why California is a trash can. Paying gang members that are dumber than a rock to show up everyday to sit around all day. Any poor person could basically qualify but finding takers to sit amoungst a group of brainless jello piles didn't work out. There were these skill training centers in black U.S. citizen neighborhoods. None of these skill training centers were in white neighborhoods.

Anyway, this type of skill training center isn't a bad idea but modifications would be needed and the targeting of minorities would have to stop. Minorities would have to get into the game and stop their crying. A military type atmosphere would have to be installed out of the reach of democrats who would destroy the program by not installing proper disaplines then trying to indoctrinate the students into voting democrat. People accepted into the program would have to be able to grasp what's being taught to them over a certain time period to make sure idiots aren't using the program as a "financial get over". Some people take more time then others to grasp a subject and need more time, some grasp quickly and don't need as much time.

NOTE 1. No children will be allowed in skill camps. People would have to do something with their children while in attendance or a home study coarse would have to be developed with mandatory internship hours put in over an extended period of time. Young people going out and having welfare babies would screw themselves out of access to living in a tent without having to pay rent. The uncontrolled birth rates should decline.

NOTE 2. Also, young people that normally go into prostitution and engage in criminal activity to support themselves outside of their minumum wage job would have a place to turn to. No felony convictions would be allowed enroll with their "Jail House Attitude". Another program would have to be developed to accomidate the "Jail House Attitude" people.

NOTE 3. To save money on a program like this the federal government could open up old WWII and antiquated military bases, buildings the feds own but are not using, federal lands near cities and towns where there are not an abundance of trees and water interests the enviromentalists would pull facial muscles getting angry over. Maintenance and enviromentalist coarses would be part of skill training so keeping up the properties would be a "No Brainer" breeze.

NOTE 4. The immigration issue above interacts with this jobs skill training package. No immigrants that are non U.S. citizens will be allowed to partisapate in the skills training program. The jobs market eventually will become saturated with skilled labor and a "5% Demand" for labor must be kept in the jobs marketplace to ensure wages move up and "Not Down". Wages that are kept at a living wage or higher with a marketplace that is saturated with a demand for skilled labor will ensure a very nice flow of cash into the U.S. treasury. In the case of another nasty recession the U.S. government can use the "Demand For Labor" tool to remove immigrants and either/or raise demand or lessen demand for employees.

In a severe recession/depression your going to want to raise demand so removing as many immigrants as it takes to get a demand back into the job market would open up jobs and push wages up again.

In a booming economy your going to lessen demand as jobs outgrow the number of workers available. This means more green cards will be issued from the border patrol and immigrants can make application at the border or mail in an application. The immigrant must then go straight to the job location and stay there. The immigrant can change jobs but they have to go back to their home country and reapply.
